The Handmaid’s Tale

The Handmaid’s Tale

I mean, know I’m late to the party, but Jesus Christ, people:

What. The. ****.

I can’t. I don’t want to. The only solace I find watching this is the people behind this production have a story, lesson, a warning to send out to the world. The horrors of Offred’s reality are presented in all their harsh, violent, disgusting truth. No cutting away last moment. No forgiveness. Brutal, naked truth coupling the worst we can do with the power of the human spirit fighting through, no matter the odds.

And that was just episode 1.

Grioghar "Greg" Thomas-Baldwin likes to (formally) Powerlift, read comics, watch movies, jam to Bastard Pop, and hang out with his wife and kids when he's not working at The Starlite Drive-In making customers move their cars and high-fiving the kiddos. Then, he likes to write about all that, tech schtuff, and more, here, and elsewhere, under a few pseudonyms.
